About the event

Cultural Crossroads is a live performance series celebrating the intersections of African-American and Afro-Latino folk traditions. Each event highlights the powerful connections between music, dance, and storytelling rooted in the African diaspora, while creating space for new interpretations and genre-blending collaborations. Featuring artists across styles—from traditional folk to hip hop, blues, and more—Cultural Crossroads explores the rich and evolving legacy of Black folk culture. The series fosters dialogue, joy, and community, honoring the past while shaping the future of folk music. Events are open to all and take place monthly, in partnership with Ágora Cultural Architects at CROMA, Boston.
